Glenties earn first Donegal title
St Eunan's Brendan Devenney
Brendan Devenney made little impact for St Eunan's
Glenties claimed their first ever Donegal SFC title by deserved beating holders St Eunan's 0-10 to 1-5 in Sunday's replay at Ballybofey.

The winners led 0-6 to 0-2 at half-time but they had to take to the field after the break without injured Brendan McDyre, who had scored three points.

St Eunan's Ciaran Ryan and Glenties' Leon Thompson were sent off after half-time after an ugly incident.

Glenties stayed in control at Conal Dunne's goal came too late for Eunan's.

Glenties team trainer, former Donegal star Jim McGuinness who has been out of action because of injury, came on in the closing moments of the game.
