Galway have qualified for their first All-Ireland hurling final since 2001 thanks to a thrilling 5-18 to 4-18 win over Kilkenny at Croke Park.
Niall Healy scored three goals and Ger Farragher two for the Connachtmen who face Cork in the 11 September final.
Galway were 11 points ahead with just 15 minutes left but Kilkenny chipped away at the massive deficit.
"We could never put them away. It was a battle right to the end," said Galway manager Conor Hayes.
