Former Tyrone midfield star Jody Gormley has been appointed trainer to the Down senior football panel.
Gormley had been Antrim's trainer for the 2003 season but has been tempted to change camps and will work alongside Paddy O'Rourke with the Mourne county.
Meanwhile, double All-Ireland winner Greg Blaney has decided to reliquish his position as a Down selector.
However, the three-time All Star will continue to assist manager O'Rourke as part of the backroom team.
