McGinley's injury not serious
Tyrone defender Cormac McGinley (left)
McGinley injured during against Fermanagh
Tyrone's Cormac McGinley will be available for Errigal Ciaran's All-Ireland Club semi-final on 23 February.

It was feared that McGinley had sustained a broken jaw in Tyrone's McKenna Cup victory over Fermanagh on Sunday.

However, following a visit to the hospital on Monday, the injury was diagnosed as severe bruising.

That will come as relief to Errigal and Tyrone boss Mickey Harte who had initially feared that he would be without his livewire defender for a number of months.

Meanwhile, Cavan handballer Paul Brady is the winner of the December Bass GAA Writers' merit award.
