Killyclogher in control
Killyclogher manager Peter McGinnity celebrated an opening victory in the Tyrone championship

Killyclogher 3-11 Ardboe 1-9

Killyclogher had to stage a fightback to claim victory in Friday night's Tyrone SFC match against Ardboe.

Ardboe were ahead when Gavin Wylie scored a penalty on 10 minutes.

However, Rory Meenan's switch to centre-forward for Killycloher proved decisive.

He scored a goal and then quickly set up Martin Cochrane for the second.

Leo Meenan netted a late penalty for Killyclogher who ran out 3-11 to 1-9 winners.

Galbally 1-7 Donaghmore 0-10

A late equalising point scored by Richard Hetherington forced a replay for Donaghmore.

The exciting parish derby was also level at half-time, Galbally on 1-3 to Donaghmore's 0-6.

Galbally hit three quickfire points in the second half but were denied victory by Hetherington's late leveller.

  • In the Down SFC, Bryansford sprang a surprise by beating fancied Downpatrick 1-11 to 0-11 at Ballykinler.

    Bryansford's all-important goal came when former Fermanagh star Shane King's sent Chris Brannigan through to find the net.
