Linfield end with a win
Stuart King scored two in a minute against Omagh Town
Linfield's Stuart King scored twice in the second half

Linfield 3-2 Omagh Town

Outgoing league champions Linfield finished the season with a win but they will be disappointed with their third place finish in the Premiership.

David Jeffrey's Blues had been runaway winners of the championship in 200 and 2001, but they failed to last the pace this time, ending behind Portadown and Glentoran.

And they were behind in this Omagh game as well.

Andy Crawford gave the County Tyrone outfit an 11th minute lead and that goal separated the sides at the interval.

But three goals in three minutes early in the second half turned the game on its head.

Norman Kelly levelled for the Blues with a 52nd minute goal.

Then left-back Stuart King advanced to score two quickfire goals.

Ivan Sproule scored a late goal for Omagh but Linfield, who play champions Portadown in the 11 May Nationwide Irish Cup final, had done enough for a closing league win.
