Antrim beat Leitrim in qualifiers
![]() Peter McCann in possession for Antrim against Leitrim
Antrim 0-13 1-7 Leitrim Antrim overcame a first half scare to beat Leitrim by three points in the first round of the All Ireland SFC qualifiers. Brian White's team never really hit top gear but they emerged victorious by 13 points to 1-7 at Casement Park in Belfast. Once again Paddy Logan was the man getting most of the points. Logan scored eight of Antrim's nine points in their Ulster Championship defeat at Derry last week and he matched that tally against Leitrim Antrim's other points came from Kevin Brady (3) and captain Joe Quinn (2). Leitrim missed many chances to peg Antrim back, but they did get the only goal when Adrian Charles stormed through the Antrim defence to find the net.
