Howe agrees to ride for Scorpions

David Howe
Howe is heading out on loan after a difficult season at Monmore

Wolves have agreed to loan David Howe to Premier League club Scunthorpe Scorpions for the entire 2009 season.

The former Peterborough rider will be linking up once again with ex-Wolves man Magnus Karlsson.

The decision follows a difficult season for Howe at Monmore Green, one which saw his average drop dramatically.

"It's a mystery how David saw his career go down so badly with us last season," said Wolves club owner Chris van Straaten.

"The lad himself admits he cannot really put his finger on it.

"We wish him well for his season with Scunthorpe and will watch his performances closely.

"I would never rule out seeing him in Wolverhampton colours again, but the time is right for him to move on for next season," he added.
