Brummies bring in trio for match

Birmingham Brummies

Birmingham will be fielding three guests against King's Lynn on Wednesday due to their ongoing injury crisis.

Skipper Jason Lyons is still sidelined by a fractured collarbone and Jack Hargreaves suffered a broken wrist during the narrow defeat by Redcar.

Andre Compton of Sheffield and Paul Clews come in while Chris Mills also gets an outing in the middle-order.

Promoter Graham Drury said: "I hope the fans understand how tough it is for us right now."

He continued: "We go into a meeting against King's Lynn with three guests and rider replacement [for Adam Roynon]. I know the fans want a team to support and hopefully that's what they will have within the next week.

"That said, I 'm happy with who we have brought in for Wednesday, I'm confident they can do a good job for us and it would be great to return to winning ways."
