Bears duo force Tigers to crumble

Speedway

Redcar Bears defeated Mildenhall Fen Tigers 53-40 following another high-scoring display from their top two of James Grieves and Gary Havelock.

33-year-old Grieves top-scored for the Bears with 14 points, including a 5-1 score alongside Finnish rider Joni Keskinen in Heat Five.

Captain Havelock returned from injury to ride in the meeting and took 10 points from his four outings.

Tigers' captain Kaj Laukkanen top-scored overall with 16 points.
