Lincolnshire's Cal Crutchlow and Steve Plater are in British Superbike action at Oulton on Bank Holiday Monday.
Crutchlow of the Louth-based HM Plant Honda team jointly leads the standings after the first round.
Steve Plater, twice a winner at Oulton, is looking to make up for lost time in his first appearance of the season.
The Kirkby-on-Bain racer said: "Because I missed the Thruxton round it is imperative for both myself and AIM Yamaha to get a good result at Oulton.
As well as riding for AIM Yamaha in BSB, Plater also competes in the World endurance series and in road racing.
"I need and find a good set-up on the bike for the North West 200 (in Ireland) and the (Isle of Man) TT," he added.
Ruskington's Rob Frost, who finished 11th in Supersport at Thruxton on the Team Buff Triumph, races at the Cheshire circuit for the first time since being injured in a heavy crash there in 2006, while HM Plant Honda's Steve Brogan is bidding to make it back-to-back victories in both supersport and superstock.
The superstock class also sees Lincoln's Lee Jackson competing, as well as Ben Wilson from Boston who is doubling up in the R1 cup as well.
"It was always my intention to race in the superstock championship if funds would allow", said Wilson.
Alford's Peter Hickman also rides in the class for Team Ultimate Yamaha, after taking fifth place in round one.
"I can't wait to get back on the race track," said Hickman, 20.
"I love the undulating Cheshire circuit and have produced good results there in the past."
