Victims of TT tragedy are named
John McGuinness on the Isle of Man TT
McGuinness' Senior win was his 13th TT victory
The rider and two spectators killed in a crash in Friday's Senior race at the Isle of Man TT have been named.

TT newcomer Marc Ramsbotham, 34, from Wymondham in Norfolk, England, was killed instantly in the incident.

Spectators Dean Adrian Jacob, 33, of Kidderminster in England and Gregory John Kenzig, 52, from Queensland in Australia also died in the accident.

Two marshals were injured, one critically, in the crash during the race won by John McGuinness.

Hillary Beryl Musson, 60, is described as critical while Janice Ann Philips is stable in hospital - both marshals are from the Isle of Man.

"Marc Ramsbotham was a hugely popular figure in the paddock and will be greatly missed," said Adrian Eranshaw, the island's Minister for Tourism and Leisure.

"We'd like to extend our deepest sympathy to Mark's family as well as the family of the spectators and marshalls involved in this tragic accident."

Isle of Man TT organisers said an investigation had been launched into the circumstances of the accident which occurred at the 25th milestone section of the course.

Lancashire's John McGuinness became the first rider in TT history to break the 130mph barrier when he won the race.

McGuinness, who also won the Superbike event on Monday, beat his own record by clocking 130.35mph on the second lap.

McGuinness finished 33 seconds ahead of Guy Martin with Ian Hutchinson third.

Ian Lougher was fourth and he was followed home by NI's Adrian Archibald, Conor Cummins, Steve Plater and Michael Rutter in eighth.

Pre-race contenders Martin Finnegan, Bruce Anstey and Ryan Farquhar all retired on the opening lap.

Success in the final race of the centenary meeting takes McGuinness to 13 TT wins.

The first four finishers were all riding Honda machines.
