British-based team WCM have confirmed they are returning to MotoGP in 2007 after securing a partnership deal with 250cc outfit Winona Racing.
WCM competed in MotoGP in 2004 and 2005 but will invest in Winona after being absent from the grid this season.
"Winona Racing has a much stronger foundation through this partnership," Winona team principal Andy Hyde told Motor Cycle News.
"We will have two bikes on the grid at every round of the 2007 season."
WCM's racing director, Peter Clifford, is to join the management team at Winona as an advisor.
Hyde added: "It's an aggressive plan and Peter's guidance and experience will be invaluable as we build the team. Our mutual ambition is to see a British MotoGP world champion."
