Adrian Coates started from pole position

Michael Laverty and Jonathan Rea both recorded good finishes in Sunday's second round of the British Superbike Championship at Donington.
In race one Laverty was fourth and Rea eighth, with Gregorio Lavilla winning.
Conditions were treacherous for the second race which was won by Scott Smart. Rea finished fifth, with Laverty two places worse off in seventh.
Eugene Laverty was third in Supersport and brother John Laverty was seventh in Superstock, with Adrian Coates 18th.
BJ Toal was third in the Virgin R6 Mobile Cup race.
