"I wouldn't have spotted Narain Karthikeyan coming back into F1 in a month of Sundays.

"The Indian has not had a race seat in F1 since Jordan in 2005, but with the inaugural Indian GP this year, I'm sure that was a driving force to his return with Hispania.

"I cannot imagine that Karthikeyan is any faster than he was in 2005 but I doubt his car will allow him to show otherwise.

"Now that he has been replaced by Daniel Ricciardo his days look even more numbered unless he has a big pot of sponsorship gold."
