Super Aguri have returned to their aim of an all-Japanese driver line-up following their decision to give a chance to Sakon Yamamoto.
First GP: Germany 2006
Best result: 17th
2006 position: 27th
Previous teams: N/A
The team learnt from the mistake made with Yuji Ide at the start of the season - Yamamoto at least has some Formula One experience.
He was the team's reserve driver before taking over from Ide's replacement Franck Montagny at Hockenheim in July.
He had to wait until the Chinese Grand Prix for his first placing of 16th.
Yamamoto replaced Frenchman Montagny, who was drafted in after the decision to drop Japanese rookie Ide following a disastrous first few races.
Ide, who had been successful in Japanese domestic racing, looked out of his depth with the struggling team.
Montagny had much more experience after spending time as Renault's test driver.
