Will Lewis Hamilton be changing his tactics for Singapore?

Lewis Hamilton has been told to retain his aggressive approach by McLaren's team principal. Despite a first-lap crash with Felipe Massa, Martin Whitmarsh said: "I don't want to change Lewis Hamilton. He is a great product, a great human being and a great racing driver. He and we wish he had done something different in that corner but we will just now focus on Singapore, getting the car quicker and focusing on beating other people."

Red Bull has revealed the problems that hampered Sebastian Vettel on lap 20 in the Italian Grand Prix were because of brake issues and not the engine. Team boss Christian Horner said: "At first we thought one of his visor tear-offs might have flown into the airbox, but it now looks as though his brakes were momentarily binding, probably as a result of hitting a kerb."

Mark Webber was left a little frustrated with sixth spot at Monza, despite a result that pushed him to the top of the championship standings. The Australian said: "I had a good scrap with Michael [Schumacher] in the early laps. I got past him and then my team-mate Sebastian Vettel, but that was as far as I got for a while because I got stuck behind Nico Hulkenberg."
