Sauber driver Kamui Kobayashi says he was so busy overtaking Fernando Alonso and Sebastien Buemi at the end of the European Grand Prix that he didn't realise the race had finished. "When I saw lots of guys waving at me, then suddenly I understood," said the Japanese driver.

Williams technical director Sam Michael has called for the safety car rules to be reviewed after nine drivers were penalised for returning to the pits too quickly. Michael also says their version of the exhaust blown diffuser will be ready for the British Grand Prix in July and that he expects another step forward in performance.
