Japanese driver Sakon Yamamoto will drive for Spyker in the remaining seven races of the Formula One season.
Yamamoto switches from a testing role at Super Aguri
Yamamoto, 25, replaces Christijan Albers after the Dutch driver's contract was terminated because of sponsorship issues.
Yamamoto started seven races for the Honda-backed Super Aguri team in F1 last season.
This year he has been testing for Super Aguri and also competing in the GP2 series for the BCN Competición team.
