Priaulx is involved in a close finish to the WTCC championship

World Touring Car championship driver Andy Priaulx is aiming for a role as Williams' Formula One test driver.
Priaulx is the reigning European champion and enters this weekend's last round of world championship locked in a three-way battle for the title.
"I did an F1 test this season and hopefully that increases next year. It's looking positive," he said.
"If I can become the Michael Schumacher of touring cars and be a full-time F1 tester I will have done pretty well."
The 29-year-old said his experience of competing in different competitions could give him the edge over younger drivers.
"The young guns can drive one lap quickly but ask them what needs to be done to go faster and they don't know," he added.
"That's where with my experience I could contribute."
But he admitted his chances of being given a chance to race in F1 were fairly unlikely.
"Everyone knows you need money for Formula One and I just don't have that. I've had to graft results out of whatever I could drive.
"When I finished in Formula Three I was ready for F1 but it didn't happen. It's unlikely now but I've learned never to say never."
