0353: After a stunning lap by Trulli in the Toyota, Alonso is even better - extending his advantage by 0.2secs from Saturday's session.

0351: Trulli slips ahead of Fisichella by a massive 0.5secs - the first man to slip below three minutes and eight seconds for his two qualifying laps.

0349: Fisichella goes fastest, moving Webber down to second place.

0347: Raikkonen goes third quickest.

0340: After a series of poor laps from Heidfeld, Button and Montoya, Webber finally beats the Red Bulls and moves on to provisional pole.

0338: Montoya puts in a very disappointing lap to slip behind Heidfeld.

0336: Heidfeld also slips behind the Red Bull cars - and drops behind Button as well.

0333: Button loses place to both Red Bull cars - he will be very disappointed.

0331: Klien manages to hang on ahead of Coulthard - by 0.2secs.

0326: Coulthard consolidates his position ahead of Barrichello by nearly two seconds - he will be hoping to leapfrog team-mate Klien, who narrowly beat him in first qualifying.

0322: Massa becomes the first driver to lose a place on the grid - slipping behind Barrichello's Ferrari by 0.382secs.

0320: Barrichello goes fastest - but only by 0.3secs. The Bridgestone tyres on the Ferrari are still struggling for pace over a single lap.

0317: Davidson is easily fastest up until now, beating Villeneuve by 1.105secs.

0314: Davidson, filling in for the ill Sato at BAR, heads out on to the track.

0312: Villeneuve goes temporarily quickest in the Sauber - nearly five seconds faster than Karthikeyan.

0310: Karthikeyan beats team-mate Monteiro for the second race running - this time by 0.306secs.

0308: Jordan's Monteiro is 3.224secs quicker than Friesacher and goes temporarily fastest.

0306: Friesacher is 1.8secs quicker than his Minardi team-mate Albers over the two laps.

0300 : Minardi's Albers heads out on to the track.
