Somerset Rebels rider Kyle Hughes can resume racing

Speedway

New Somerset Rebels signing Kyle Hughes has been given the go ahead to resume racing after recovering from surgery.

Hughes required surgery after breaking his shoulder whilst riding for Rye House at King's Lynn in October and will now race with a steel plate.

He said: "If I do suffer any discomfort then they will take it out, so I haven't got any worries about waiting for any further surgery.

"The shoulder is strong and feels as good as it was prior to my accident."
