Plymouth Devils failed to build on Friday's home win over King's Lynn as they went down to a narrow defeat away at Weymouth on Saturday. Despite an impressive performance from Mark Simmonds that saw him claim 145 points from five rides, the Devils were unable to match the home team. James Cockle was the top scorer for the home side with 12 points, while Tom Brown picked up nine. The Devils beat King's Lynn comfortably 59-36 at home on Friday evening. New signing and number one rider Nicki Glanz scored 20 points over both matches, confirming his worth to the Devils line-up.
