Bournemouth win National League

Plymouth Devils
The Devils secured the National Trophy by beating Weymouth

Bournemouth have won the National League Championship after beating Plymouth Devils 104-82 over two legs in the play-off final.

Bournemouth won the first leg 62-34 at home, giving themselves a 28-point advantage over the Devils.

In the second leg on Friday, the Devils won 48-42, giving Bournemouth overall victory by 22 points.

Jerran Hart, 18, was the star for Bournemouth on Friday, winning all six of his races at the St Boniface Arena.

Plymouth: Adam Allott 5 (4 rides), Paul Starke 6 (4), Matt Bates 7+2 (4), Seemond Stephens 13 (5), Kyle Hughes 11+1 (5), Jaimie Pickard 4 (4), David Gough 2 (4).

Bournemouth: Jay Herne 5 (4), Danny Warwick 1 (3), Kyle Newman (rider replacement), Mark Baseby 7+1 (4), Jerran Hart 18 (6), Andrew Aldridge 4 (5), Aaron Baseby 7 (7), John Resch 0 (1).
