Klaus Jakobsen has impressed in his first season with the Stoke Potters
Stoke Potters promoter Dave Tattum has said the performances of Klaus Jakobsen and Jesper Kristiansen have helped him build a solid line-up at Loomer Road.
The two young Danish riders arrived at the club as reserves at the start of 2009, but have quickly established themselves as key members of the team.
Tattum told BBC Radio Stoke: "The balance is pretty good, we wanted a strong pair of reserves in the team.
"Jesper and Klaus started there, now they've moved into the main body."
He added: "They're doing a great job, scoring points, and now we've got Tom P Madsen and Lee Smart at reserve. They're more than capable, especially Tom."
Kristiansen has proved he can step up to the next level of British speedway, representing Wolves in the Elite League at various stages of the 2009 season.
The Potters took the decision to replace Glen Phillips with the experienced Mark Burrows in May after a poor start to the season.
Burrows then left the club in June, with youngster Lee Smart taking his place.
Stoke, currently fifth in the Premier League table, travel to Scunthorpe on Friday, and then host Edinburgh at Loomer Road 24 hours later.
