Lynn demolish Star-struck Potters

King's Lynn Stars bounced back from their Tuesday night Premier League defeat to thrash Stoke Potters 69-21 in the Premier Trophy.

Chris Schramm, Emilliano Sanchez and Darcy Ward were all unbeaten, while Stoke managed just one heat win.

Lynn reserve Jan Graversen was pleased to reach double figures for the first time since joining the Stars.

"I've been down, low on confidence, I just feel I'm over that now, I started racing again and made some good gates."

He added: "That's what it's all about and I have a good team to support me."

Graversen foiled Stoke's attempts to close the gap in his final ride, beating Jason Bunyon who was on a double-points tactical ride.

"I knew that so I just went for it, I got underneath him a bit hard, but that's speedway and I got him," he said.

The Danish rider was full of praise for his team-mates, and says consistency in the team was the key to such a big win.

"Every one of the team members was at their best tonight, we showed that on the points tonight, it was a heavy score."
