F1's rollercoaster race to the title
Lewis Hamilton and Felipe Massa touch cars in Japan

Japan whittled the title race down to three contenders as Raikkonen's title defence ended with third place in Fuji.

Hamilton was penalised for running off the track in a poor start and then collided with Massa, who was punished for the incident.

The penalties effectively neutralised the two main rivals with Massa classified seventh and Hamilton 12th while Kubica lost the race lead to Alonso but stayed in the title hunt.
