Dalziel has earned his Champ Car chance
Ryan Dalziel will start 16th on the grid when he makes his Champ Car debut in Sunday's Molson Indy in Toronto.

The Scot, driving for Dale Coyne Racing, posted a time of one minute 0.436 seconds in final qualifying.

"My goal for the first two days was to not make any mistakes and I've achieved that," he said. "But I would have preferred to have been further up."

Sebastian Bourdais, who won the race last year, took pole ahead of Canada's Paul Tracy.
