Greg Biffle stormed to easy victory in a crash-filled MBNA 400 race in Delaware to cement his place near the top of the Nascar standings.
His fourth win of the season at the Monster Mile track drew him within 46 points of pacesetter Jimmie Johnson.
In a race slowed seven times, Biffle won in part because he avoided traffic problems that resulted in hard crashes.
Among those taken from the field were Jeff Gordon, Ricky Rudd, Ken Schrader and Dave Blaney.
