Tracy surges to Milwaukee victory
Paul Tracy
Tracy's win was the 29th of his career and his fourth at Milwaukee
Paul Tracy clinched his first win for almost a year in the third Champ Car race of the season in Milwaukee.

The Canadian fought his way up from the third row of the grid to finish 3.369 seconds ahead of AJ Allmendinger.

Spain's Oriol Servia, who was standing in for injured points leader Bruno Junqueira, was third.

Britain's Justin Wilson finished fourth ahead of Jimmy Vasser, and Sebastien Bourdais replaced Junqueira at the top of the standings after taking sixth.

Bourdais, who won the first race of the season at Long Beach, was a lap behind the winner after being punished for a pit-lane speeding violation.

Wilson's fourth place moves him up to second in the points standings, seven behind Bourdais.

Tracy, who had not won since last July in Vancouver, British Columbia, moved up from fifth to second by the end of the first lap.

He put a bold passing move on polesitter Vasser on lap 19 to take the lead, and held off a challenge from American Allmendingerger in the closing laps.
