Jeff Gordon claimed victory by the narrowest of margins in the Aaron's 499 Nextel Cup race at the Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama.
The Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet driver crossed the finish line just 0.193 seconds ahead of runner-up Tony Stewart in the Nascar event.
The victory was Gordon's third of the season and 72nd of his Cup career. He led a race-high 139 of 193 laps.
Michael Waltrip, Jeremy Mayfield and Jamie McMurray completed the top-five.
