Kurt Busch leads Jimmie Johnson at Phoenix
Busch's win moves him closer to series leader Johnson (behind)
Kurt Busch won Nascar's Phoenix 500 under lights on Saturday to end a run of four crashes at his last four races.

Bush led 219 of the 312 laps to beat Michael Waltrip by 2.315 seconds for his 12th career victory, with Jeff Burton and Dale Earnhardt Jr next up.

Greg Biffle chased Busch hard for much of the race, but collided with a rival in the pit lane and ended up 41st.

Bush's win moved him up to second in the standings, trailing leader Jimmie Johnson, who was 15th, by 173 points.
