Andy Priaulx took the lead in the World Touring Car Championship after solid performances in both races in Istanbul.
The BMW driver finished third in the first race and ninth in the second to leapfrog Dirk Muller in the standings.
The first race was won by Alfa Romeo's Fabrizio Giovanardi with York's James
Thompson second ahead of Priaulx.
Muller lost his series lead after only managing ninth. Alfa claimed a one-two in the second race as Gabriele Tarquini won from team-mate Augusto Farfus Jr.
