Jeremy Mayfield claimed his first Nascar win of the season with success in the GFS Marketplace 400 in Michigan.
Mayfield ran the last 52 laps on a single tank of fuel and took the lead with six of the 200 laps to go.
Scott Riggs had his best ever result, finishing second, followed by Matt Kenseth and Carl Edwards, who had been battling for the lead at one stage.
Series points leader Tony Stewart was fifth for his eight consecutive top-seven finish.
