Tony Stewart held off Kasey Kahne's challenge to win the Allstate 400 in his home state of Indiana on Sunday.
The victory, Stewart's fourth in the last six races, was his first in Indianapolis and moved him to the top of the Nascar driver standings.
Stewart beat Kahne by five car-lengths after regaining the lead on lap 150, with Brian Vickers back in third.
"I wish I could put it into words, it's been my entire life," said Stewart, who kissed the racetrack after his win.
