Eriksson: Veteran with pace
![]() Eriksson: immense world championship experience
Now 42, Kenneth Eriksson has been a feature on the world rally championship for over 20 years.
Although he has four career victories, achieved in 1995 and '97 with Mitsubishi and Subaru respectively, it is his wide-ranging experience that has been particularly useful to Hyundai. He can, nevertheless, still pull it out of the bag, as a fifth place in the New Zealand Rally in 2000 proved. He is undoubtedly quick, even if he is perhaps a touch too aggressive at times. There is little to choose between the Eriksson and his team-mate Alister McRae, which means they will likely push Hyundai's development on apace as they struggle to outdo each other.
