GB's Samantha Murray was overhauled in the final event in Budapest to finish just outside the medals in her third Modern Pentathlon World Cup appearance.

Murray, 22, from Lancashire battled her way from 10th to third in the run/shoot but Hungary's Leila Gyenesei passed her to take bronze by three seconds.

Freyja Prentice, 19, was sixth overall, and has been in the top 10 in each of her five World Cups.

German Olympic champion Lena Schoneborn took gold from Amelie Caze of France.

Leading Brits Mhairi Spence - who won the last World Cup leg in Kent - Heather Fell and Katy Livingston were absent from the event.
