Norway ease to win over France

Norway show their class against France
Norway 3-0 France

Olympic champions Norway underlined their position as one of the favorites for the women's European Championships by beating France 3-0.

Monica Knusen gave Norway the lead in the 14th minute and France's Emmanuelle Sykora scored an own goal to make it 2-0 in the 18th minute.

Dagny Mellgren completed the scoring for Norway five minutes before half-time.

France had several chances in the second half, but were unable to beat Bente Nordby who was earning her 100th cap in the Norway goal.
