Henin: I'll be back
Henin
Henin: Two unbelievable weeks
By BBC Sport Online's Charlie Henderson at Wimbledon

Despite losing the Wimbledon final Justine Henin has a taste for tennis on grass and the All England Club.

In only her second appearance at the championships, Henin reached the final before losing to Venus Williams 6-1 3-6 6-0.

The Belgian hailed Williams as the best grass court player in the women's game but also made clear her intention to improve her own tennis before returning to gain her revenge on the American.

"I have had two unbelievable weeks at Wimbledon - an experience I will remember all my life - and I will be back.

"Players like Venus Williams are great champions and I still have another level to go but I have the ability to win.

"I will have to work very hard to achieve my goals and come back and win," Henin declared.

It will be difficult to beat her at Wimbledon - she could win it a lot

"I didn't think I would be in the final this year, I was down 7-5 4-1 against Kristie Boogert in the second round, but I was and it was a dream - a great moment."

Henin's best moment in the final was when she levelled the match after the second set and proved that size was no barrier to her progress in the modern game that is dominated by power.

"I proved during one set that size doesn't matter although it's harder on grass particularly against Venus - her serve is unbelievable.

"But it was difficult for me after that. I was a little bit tired and she was mentally stronger and had the experience.

"She has a good game for grass and she has been the best player here.

"It will be difficult to beat her at Wimbledon and she could win it a lot but next year other players may also play better, there's still Martina Hingis, Jennifer Capriati, Lindsay Davenport and Serena Williams."

Henin, who this time last year was ranked 100, will climb now climb to fifth in the rankings and is determined to maintain he progress before returning to challenge for the title herself next year.
