Clockwatch: Leicester 19-15 Gloucester
Ian Jones of Gloucester and Martin Johnson of Leicester
All the action, minute by minute, as Leicester triumph in a tense Heineken Cup semi-final against Gloucester.

Leicester Tigers will face Stade Francais in their first European Cup final after a 19-15 victory over Gloucester at Vicarage Road.

1 min: Simon Mannix kicks the first points of the afternoon after Leicester are penalised for bringing a maul down. 0-3.

2 mins: Leicester winger Tim Stimpson is brought down metres short of the Gloucester try-line.

6 mins: Tim Stimpson levels the scores after kicking over a penalty when Junior Paramore is penalised for holding the ball in the tackle. 3-3.

11 mins: Leicester steal the ball from a Gloucester line-out and concede a penalty in front of the posts for killing the ball. Stimpson adds the three points. 6-3.

16 mins: Mannix brings Gloucester back level with a fantastic 40-yard kick after Austin Healey is penalised for holding onto the ball in the tackle. 6-6.

18 mins: Gloucester second row Ian Jones uses his ample frame to charge down an Andy Goode drop goal.

21 mins: Try. A fantastic burst from winger Stimpson dissects the Gloucester defence before releasing centre Leon Lloyd, who touches down under the posts. Stimpson converts for the extra two points. 13-6.

26 mins: Will Johnson concedes a penalty, but Mannix fails to capitalise when he pushes his kick wide of the left-hand post.

30 mins: Leicester are adjudged off-side as Gloucester efficiently recycle the ball 10 metres from the Tigers try-line. Mannix makes no mistakes this time. 13-9.

32 mins: Olivier Azam is caught pulling the jersey of one of the Leicester players, giving Stimpson the opportunity to stretch the Tigers lead to seven. 16-9.

38 mins: Gloucester use the full length of the Vicarage Road pitch to spread the play, but cannot breakdown the obdurate Tigers defence.

Half-time score: Leicester 16-9 Gloucester

44 mins: The Leicester front line are penalised for bringing down the scrum 20-yards from the Tigers line. Mannix kicks over his fourth penalty of the afternoon. 16-12.

But poor discipline from the forwards concedes possession back into Leicester hands.

49 mins: Wonderful handling skills sees Gloucester turn defence into attack, led by the powerful running of Samoan centre Terry Fanolua.

51 mins: Gloucester winger James Simpson-Daniel makes a superb try-saving tap tackle on Stimpson.

But the resulting ruck sees tempers flair, giving French referee Joel Dume no option but to sin-bin Leicester captain Martin Johnson and Gloucester number eight Junior Paramore for an off-the-ball fracas.

56 mins: Eighteen-year-old Simpson-Daniel again produces another try-saving tackle, this time stopping second row Ben Kay just metres from the Gloucester try-line.

60 mins: Tim Stimpson kicks his fourth penalty of the match when Gloucester hooker Azam is penalised for coming up too early in the scrum. 19-12.

63 mins: Martin Johnson and Junior Paramore return from their stint in the sin-bin.

65 mins: Paramore is again involved in fisticuffs, this time with Leicester hooker Richard Cockerill, but the referee decides not to punish either player.

73 mins: Stimpson just can't find the direction with an mammoth 50-metre penalty inside his own half.

76 mins: Mannix brings the deficit down to four points when Leicester concede a penalty inside their 22-yard line. Junior Paramore is substituted with an injury. 19-15.
