Leona Maguire played in last year's Curtis Cup in the US
Cavan teenager Leona Maguire clinched a remarkable 15-shot win in the Portuguese Ladies Amateur Open at the Aroeira Glub near Lisbon.
Maguire's final-round 68 left her on 14 under and 15 clear of Germany's Karolin Lampert and Holland's Karlijn Zaanen.
Her twin sister Lisa finished in 10th place - 19 shots behind Leona.
The 16-year-old led by eight shots going into the final round and there was no let-up as she dominated the field to complete a stunning triumph.
The Maguires combined to win the Nations Cup which was run concurrently with the event.
Leona dedicated her victory to the memory of their grandfather Aidan, who passed away on 8 January.
Both Maguires, who are attached to the Slieve Russell club, played on the Britain & Ireland team in last year's Curtis Cup.
