Clarke is four under in Spain

Darren Clarke is eight shots off the lead in Spain

Dungannon's Darren Clarke lies four under par at the Castello Masters in Spain with four holes of his second round still to be played on Saturday.

Clarke opened with a round of three-under-par 68 on Thursday and carded one birdie and 13 pars on Friday.

Robert Allenby and Martin Kaymer lead the field on 12 under, with Sergio Garcia a shot behind on 11 under.

Gary Murphy is two under after a second round of 70 while Paul McGinley lies level par after also shooting a 70.
