Maybin shoots 67 in final round

Gareth Maybin finished the French Open with a flourish on Sunday

Ballyclare's Gareth Maybin carded six birdies as he fired an impressive four-under-par 67 in Sunday's final round of the French Open in Paris.

The Ballyclare player finished tied 10th on six under while a quadruple-bogey eight at the final hole left Darren Clarke on two under after a 72.

Damien McGrane (68) ended five under, a shot ahead of Peter Lawrie (67) while Shane Lowry (73) was one over.

Martin Kaymer beat Lee Westwood in a play-off after they finished 13 under.
