Europe go into the 2008 Ryder Cup as favourites after winning the last three Ryder Cups and five of the last six.
In the last two events, at Oakland Hills in the US and the K Club in Ireland two years ago, Europe won by record-equalling margins of 18½-9½.
"Uniquely we are probably not going be favourites to win this match," said US captain Paul Azinger.
