Stuart Cink celebrates with the Travelers Championship trophy
Cink now has five career PGA Tour titles to his name

Stewart Cink claimed his first PGA Tour event in four years after winning the Travelers Championship by one shot.

Cink carded four birdies and a bogey in his 67 for 18 under overall, holding off 2007 winner Hunter Mahan and Tommy Armour III in Connecticut.

Cink had a two-shot lead at the start of Sunday's round, but only dropped one shot at the par-four 3rd hole.

Brian Davis was the highest-placed Briton in 12th place, with compatriot Justin Rose one place below in 13th.

The $1m (506,000) event was the fifth of Cink's career following a four-year hiatus since winning the WGC-NEC Invitational in August 2004.
