Graeme McDowell is chasing a place in the Ryder Cup

Graeme McDowell claimed a top 10 finish in the 54-hole Austria Open in Vienna after carding a three-under-par 68.

The Portrush player had an eagle, four birdies and three bogeys in his round to end the tournament on 11 under and in jointh eighth place.

Dungannon's Darren Clarke posted a 65 to end on nine under while David Higgins was eight under after a 68 and a 74 left Gary Murphy on six under.

Jeev Milkha Singh claimed a one-shot victory on 15 under.
