Woods's Isleworth trail Lake Nona
Tiger Woods
Woods and John Cook lost to Stenson and DiMarco
Tiger Woods was on the wrong end of a whitewash in the annual Tavistock Cup match between Isleworth and Lake Nona golf clubs in Orlando.

Woods's Isleworth team went down 10-0 on the opening day of the two-day event after his five pairings all lost.

The world number one and partner John Cook had a better-ball of 65, but opponents Henrik Stenson and Chris DiMarco went around Lake Nona in 57.

The second and final day sees fourball singles matches to decide the outcome.

England's Justin Rose partnered close friend and compatriot Ian Poulter to a combined 61 to beat Robert Allenby and Craig Parry by six.

Retief Goosen and Trevor Immelman added the third point, defeating Stuart Appleby and Nick O'Hern 64-65.

Northern Ireland's Graeme McDowell then teamed up with former Open champion Ben Curtis for a 63-64 win over Lee Janzen and Scott Hoch.

With two points for a win, Ernie Els and Mark McNulty made it 10-0 with a 62-66 victory against Charles Howell and Mark O'Meara.

"It's always nice to do it in style," said McDowell.

With 20 points up for grabs on Tuesday, each player in the five fourballs will compete in strokeplay singles against his two opponents. Woods is up against Els and Goosen.
