South African trio James Kingston, Hennie Otto and Jakobus Roos share the lead on 11 under after the second round of the Joburg Open.
Kingston (66) and Roos (65) both signed off their rounds on the West Course with eagles while Otto made six birdies on his way to a 67.
Australian Terry Pilkadaris was one shot off the pace after a round of 66.
Scotland's Alastair Forsyth is tied for eighth alongside overnight leader Andrew McLardy on eight under.
Frenchman Raphael Eyraud, who is in joint 26th place, also had a memorable day as he sunk the first hole-in-one of the tournament at the fifth on the East Course.
