Not the longest but a fairly sharp dogleg right to left - so the first decision is how much of the corner to try to bite off.
It is possible to leave yourself just a little pitch, but the majority play safe to the crest of the hill and then try to judge their approach to a green which slopes towards the
water on the left.
Any wind and this hole becomes quite tricky.
YOUR K CLUB EXPERIENCES AND COMMENTS
Sharon Smurfit, the daughter of K Club owner Dr Michael Smurfit, hosted her Lady Captain's Day two years ago and decided to play amongst her friends and family. Lots of activity prior to the event meant that Sharon had organised her day to perfection. Her relaxation was so evident that on the 11th , the most curved hole on the course, Sharon held her second shot to score the one and only eagle of the day. John McHenry, K Club director of golf
The ladies had their hearts broken on the Palmer course when playing an All-Ireland final against City of Derry. The Irish international Helen Jones sank a putt for a birdie on the 20th (the present 11th) to win the match against the K Club's Noreen O' Grady and claim the title for Derry.
