Sweden's hottest player has grown into one of Europe's most consistent competitors in recent years and will make his Ryder Cup debut at the K Club.
The 30-year-old won the Challenge Tour in 2000 and clinched his breakthrough win at The Belfry the following year.
Despite the promise it took him three years to win again but he impressed in 2005 and won in Qatar in January.
Stenson then went more than four months without a top 10 before he won the final qualifying event in Munich.
Did you know? Henrik Stenson was a late starter and did not get down to scratch until he was 18, in 1994. He turned pro with a handicap of plus four in 1998.
